OREGON-WASHINGTON BYWAYS

For those of you who like to travel (as opposed to spending two weeks in a Hawaiian beach chair), the North Western USA has quite a bit to offer. But since we have been there many times, it did take a while to ferret out unique areas we had not seen before. Table Rock was a very interesting hike and a good stopping distance from the Bay Area. We took in more new hikes at the beautiful Columbia Gorge. Washington's Long Beach was well worth a few days. The Olympic Forest had some excellent hikes we had not taken yet. We were really looking forward to driving Washington's scenic highway 20 we had read so much about, but it was not to be due to snow. Lastly the Grand Coulee area was a respite from the humid west and we enjoyed several hikes there. We would love to hear your comments or suggestions for other unique places in this area.
